About
The work lives in the space between control and surrender.
The Lost Pastel is the studio practice of a New York–based artist working in oil pastel, soft pastel, and watercolor. The recurring forms — circles, eye shapes, membrane structures, grids — emerge from an ongoing investigation into cellular biology, perception, and boundary.
Each piece is made in a single sitting when possible. Oil pastel does not erase, does not forgive, does not wait.
Originals and commissions are available, alongside a limited run of archival prints. For pricing, availability, or studio visits, send an inquiry below.
